Under the direction of Chef-Proprietor, Angela Hartnett, Merchants Tavern offers customers the very best of seasonally inspired food and wine, served in fast moving, professional yet relaxed surroundings.
Our menu, designed by head chef, Neil Borthwick, is composed of simple yet elegant Modern European dishes, made with passion and care to illustrate the quality, seasonality and heritage of our ingredients.
We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef de Partie / Senior Chef de Partie to join this talented brigade, to cook high standard dishes.
experience:
·Be enthusiastic, passionate, have an eye for detail and fantastic knife skills.
·You will either be a current chef de partie or higher chef role with 2 – 3 year experience in similar restaurants.
·A good level of spoken English is required.
·Have the desire develop your knowledge and Broaden your culinary skills
·Be able to work as part of a skilled team where consistently great food is the focus
·Ideally have experience of working with seasonal products
·Always strive for excellence
