We are currently looking for a chef de partie and a sushi chef to join our young and energetic team in one of the most beautiful fjords in Iceland. The two restaurants are part of our family business which includes 3 restaurants and 2 hotels. We have a team of young, multicultural and experienced staff. We use mostly organic ingredients which are sourced from local farms, local fishermen, and hunters.
We are currently looking for a chef de partie to join our European-nordic restaurant and work beside our head chef and 3 more chefs. The best candidate will be trained and experience in European cuisine, be able to work under pressure and be good at solving kitchen problems.
We are also looking for a sushi chef to join our award sushi bar ( nominated best sushi restaurant in Iceland) and work beside our head chef and 2 more sushi chefs. The best candidate will have a solid experience in sushi making, cleaning whole fish and knowledge of japanize cuisine and products.
The candidate will need to speak fluent English and have a European citizenship and be willing to relocate to Iceland from May to September 2022 ( with the possibility to extend the contract ). The company supplies accommodation during the working period and meals during working time. The contract will be a full time from May to September, which includes vacation money.
