Now due to our success in providing the absolute best food to take to the skies Absolute Taste are currently recruiting for Chef De Parties to join our team based in Wandsworth, South West London.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience within a similar environment and will be passionate about amazing food and exceptional service. We are looking for individuals who are used to working in this kind of environment to continue to take our Inflight kitchen from strength to strength.
Due to the nature of the business shifts run at various times between the hours of 5:30am and 1:00am so it is essential applicants can make their way to and from Wandsworth around these times. There are no split shifts and as a business we endeavour to ensure all Inflight chefs have 2 weekends off a month.
Key Accountabilities of a Chef De Partie
•Ensuring the cleaning schedule is adhered to and that cleaning tasks are completed
•Ensure accurate stock rotation and storage procedures are adhered to
•Maintain a detailed knowledge of the full menu and be able to explain dish descriptions
•Ensure compliance with health and safety and food hygiene legislation.
•Ensure all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines and training programs are carefully adhered to.
The successful candidate will:
• Have previous experience in a CDP role within a similar environment
• Fully understand how the role contributes to the success of the restaurant.
• Ensure procedures are carefully followed at all times.
• Maintain a good level of understanding of the restaurant and hospitality industry.
• Builds effective and constructive relationships.
• Communicate clearly, professionally and concisely.
• Work collaboratively with others in pursuit of team goals.
