The Knowles of Norwood is a really great pub providing freshly cooked British food and great drinks to the community around West Norwood and Tulse Hill. We are looking for a Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team.
You will work
- Around 16-24 hrs/week - this will be 2-3 shifts, generally 3pm-10.30pm weekdays and from 11am at weekends
- The odd other shift here and there to cover busy times and holidays
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
- Managing food purchasing and storage
- Maintaining a safe and hygienic kitchen environment
- Helping create new recipes and write menus
- Preparing great quality food for our customers
- Maintaining procedures that ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation
A good grasp of English is essential for this role.
