Chef de Partie - £12.00 per hour

We are now seeking a talented and enthusiastic Chef de Partie to join our fun and energetic team, so come and be a part of the story rhubarb is writing.
Job role
• In collaboration with the Head Chef and the Kitchen team you will ensure consistency of producing bespoke menus, dishes as per our customer needs.
• To prepare, cook and serve food delegated as your responsibility, ensuring that the highest possible quality is maintained.
• Make sure that all dishes are prepared correctly and that meals get to diners in a timely manner.
• Demonstrate artistic skills in plating food in an appetizing manner.
• Cooking up tasty, nutritious and well balanced meals for customers.
• Deciding on the quantities of food to be cooked and size of portions to be served.
• Creating dishes for clients with special dietary or cultural needs.
Candidate profile
• Excellent knowledge of professional cooking and knife handling skills.
• Understanding and knowledge of safety, sanitation and food handling procedures.
• Previous kitchen management/supervisory experience required.
• Professional communication skills are required at native English level.
• Ability to take direction.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure.
• Must have problem solving abilities, be self-motivated and organized.
• Commitment to quality service, and food and beverage knowledge.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends and some holidays.
