Chef needed in Central Kitchen based in an established speciality cafe serving healthy, organic and intolerance friendly food in Primrose Hill.
Located in Camden (NW1) and looking for a chef to join our team, we are an independent cafe who aim to inspire and encourage a healthy lifestyle through great tasting food and drink.
We are looking for someone who shares our passion for quality, has an interest in healthy food and drink and is motivated and excited at the thought of being a part of our growing team.
The core of the job includes being responsible for all breakfasts, soups, stews, roasting of meats, salads and dressings etc. And other general kitchen duties. We need someone with excellent time management skills who is completely comfortable working autonomously in a small business environment where priorities can change quickly.
What we need from you is to.

Ideally have at least one years previous experience in a commercial kitchen role, preferably within a similar café environment.
Contribution of ideas for new and exciting seasonal dishes together with creativity in preparing and presenting our menu items.
Know how to batch cook savoury dishes but also be happy to work across all sections and willing to work as part of a team.
Have a friendly attitude and excellent customer service.
Have a comprehensive understanding of health and hygiene laws and best practice - Food Safety and Hygiene Level 2 would be beneficial.
Be fluent in English (both written and spoken)
Be eligible to live and work full time in the UK.
