This challenging yet highly rewarding part time Chef role requires someone with the ability to support a catering team in the absence of a Chef to ensure continuity of standards.
You will be responsible for ensuring that all food not only looks and tastes delicious but also reflects the preferences and dietary requirements of each resident. You will design menus, manage all aspects of the kitchen, control the budget and lead the catering team.
You will need to have previous experience within a similar role. A Basic Food Hygiene certificate is required and a catering qualification such as City and Guilds 706 1/2 or equivalent is preferred.
This is a PART TIME BANK position to provide cover as and when required; for example for planned absence such as annual leave, or unplanned absence such as sick leave. The hours and days will vary accordingly.
