Chef at Bread By Bike Required

We’re looking for a talented chef to join our small independent bakery, creating delicious dishes every day in a relaxed and friendly environment.
Bread By Bike began as a project in a tiny kitchen, where our founder baked sourdough to procrastinate work. When his bread began winning awards and a crowdfunding campaign raised nearly double its target amount, he found premises and set up shop. In the three weeks Bread By Bike has been open it’s been a huge success, with a line of hungry customers that grows longer every day.
We’re looking for a chef who can take things to the next level. Working full time (7am-3pm, plus break, 5 days per week) you’ll be preparing and serving our simple, nutritious menu to the lovely BBB clientele. As the bakery grows, there will be the chance to develop and Hone your skills: you’ll create daily changing sandwiches, develop your own salads and soups, curate the house specials and bake some cakes.
We’re looking for a positive, enthusiastic individual who is as passionate about good food as we are. Some professional experience is a necessity and culinary instinct and passion are crucial.
What you’ll need:
- experience of preparing and cooking food, ideally in a restaurant/cafe.
