Purpose of the Role:
At the main offices of this Investment Bank, we have an in-house Chef Manager who serves breakfast, lunch and coffees throughout the day to Liberum’s staff and visitors. Due to an increase in demand, a position has become available for an assistant barista/chef, to work alongside our chef manager throughout the day in a wide variety of tasks. This is an excellent opportunity to undertake a meaningful apprenticeship and learn from a professional chef with over 28 years’ experience.
The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills and the confidence to interact with a variety of people face to face and over the phone, taking orders and upselling the services of the department. You should have the ability to work in high pressured environments and an excellent attention to detail – working quickly to take orders, deal with cash handling and keeping the workspace clean and tidy. Previous experience in a catering or customer service position is desirable, although not essential.
An Apprenticeship is a mixture of learning on the job, and completing relevant training with an approved training provider.
