Our company specialises in plant based food and patisserie. As we are a fast growing business we are looking for some new team members with a passion for cooking delicious vegan food and patisserie in general.
We are specifically looking for the following:
A motived and friendly chef for our busy cafe - between 20 to 30 hours per week - daytime shifts / with the opportunity of doing more hours if wanted. We take pride in making everything from scratch and keep our dishes innovative and fresh, you will be managing the kitchen and working with the owner to ensure that the food is always outstanding, the menu is always fresh and seasonal and every dish is beautifully presented.
This is a great opportunity for self-motivated, hard-working and ambitious chef to gain experience and progress while growing with us.

Pastry chef - About 30 hrs a week and pay is competitive. There is an opportunity to increase the number of hours if desired later in the winter. You will be working initially evening/night time and very soon daytime in our commercial kitchen - at the interview you will be able to discuss your preferences about hours and shift, these can be designed around you.
You will take pride in making new treats for our patisserie menu, being innovative and building with us a dynamic team and a strong patisserie offering.
Creativity is a MUST for both these roles.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES for both roles:
• Manage the pastry section of the kitchen / Managing the kitchen at our cafe
• Ensuring high standards of food preparation are upheld
• Keeping your section clean and organised
• Detailed knowledge of the seasonal food
• Following the direction and commands of the senior team, while being inventive - there is space for you to bring new ides, make decisions and changes to our menu.
Patissier requirements:
- experience in baking minimum 5 years
- Good decorating skills
- Able to follow orders meticulously
- Punctual, team player
- Creativity and an absolute love for cakes, tarts and sweet treats
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES for both roles:
• Will have al least 5 years experience
• Enjoys working in a very busy environment and in front of clients
