The Position:
We're a small coffee kiosk based on a train station platform and we are seeking to hire a new Barista. Ideally, we would like to hire someone who can work shifts during the week mainly but with some weekends too.
The role is for eigther one person to work up to 30 hours a week or for 2 to work that between them. We're looking for a bright cheerful person who would be ready and willing to work with a smile and with speed from 5.30am. As we are small but busy very busy in the mornings so you need to be able to work at pace and keep the line moving.
We need people who don’t can show initiative and genuinely enjoy working with the public. You'll need to be a self starter - setting up and maintaining our small space, so you need to be creative and organised.
It would be fantastic if you have had experience in making espresso drinks and of making inventive sandwiches/bagels.
The job is usually in 4, 6 or 8 hour shifts, were open 7 days a week 5.30 am – 6.30pm
So typicaly this may suit someone with a mature responsible attitude, who can commit to some early mornings and wants to fit a job around other commitments.

We Need People who possess the following qualities:
Common sense, initiative, tidy and organized with maturity, be punctual and consistent with a naturally cheery disposition, and enjoy working in a customer service role.
Essential Qualities:
- Experienced in making consistently quality espresso based drinks using a manual manual coffee machine.
- Excellent command of English in both verbal and written forms
- Must be able to work on your own, with initiative, to manage duties including: stock ups, receiving deliveries(heavy lifting involved), cleaning and cash handling.
- Excellent punctuality and organisation with the ability to work in a very fast paced and busy but very compact area.
- Must be able to get to Brockley Station in no more than 20-30 minutes, and be able to do shifts that start at 5.30am and 7am on weekends.
