Role Responsibilities
Summary
· All-rounder role with key focus on driving, dog walking and general willingness to help out where needed.
· Flexible working hours, including, from time to time, evenings and weekends
· Support principal’s family as needed
· Willingness and ability to travel as needed
Day-to-day chauffeur, including to and from office, airport and meetings
· Vehicle maintenance, including insurance and registration paperwork, cleaning, checking engine fluids, maintaining tire pressure and keeping fuel levels at adequate levels
· Several long-distance trips each year to continental Europe
Looking after the dog
· Candidate needs to be active to enjoy taking dog for long walks
· Transportation and care for dog in owner’s absence
· Seeking a candidate who is able to look after the dog at their own residence on occasion
General Assistance when needed
Candidate Requirements
Necessary (candidates should not apply if all of the following are not met)
· Intelligence, energy, character and highest levels of discretion
· Excellent communication, written and oral, and interpersonal skills
· Love for dogs and active / enjoy the outdoors and long walks
· Clean UK Driving License
· UK or EU Passport
· Flexibility over working hours
· Willingness and ability to travel
§ Potentially up to 3 months of travelling, living and working - primarily in Switzerland
· Candidate should currently reside within easy commutable distance of principle’s residence near Notting Hill Gate
· Immaculate personal presentation (including being clean shaven daily)
· Uniform of dark suit and tie when driving; more casual (e.g. Polo shirt) when appropriate
· Basic spreadsheet/word processing skills
· References and full background check will be taken prior to final stages
Desirable (but not ‘required’)
· Prior driving experience preferred
· Formal driving qualifications would be an advantage
· Ability and willingness to occasionally look after dog at own residence preferred
