We are helping poor children and their families from the most deprived part of the UK Through various breakfast clubs by providing healthy breakfast meals and nutritious food hampers according to UK food guideline. Enlighten the Children is working tirelessly to provide help and support to children affected by preventable diseases worldwide. We aim to have a platform where a community-based mobile clinic will be treating children and raise awareness amongst families and ultimately save lives. Enlighten the Children is dedicated to work closely with the community, local government and local health care organisations to make a real difference so that the most vulnerable children will have a better chance of survival and eventually have a better way of life.
Typical responsibilities include:
• Our fundraisers are responsible for raising money by encouraging donations from individuals and businesses.
• Help running our kids breakfast club in selected schools – being involved with running of operations and organising of daily activities, also coming up with new ideas for child activities suitable for children.
• Organising and helping with traditional fundraising activities such as sponsored or promotional events, Raffles and street collections
• Recruiting and coordinating the work of volunteers
• Approaching individuals, schools, universities, local authorities, shops and commercial organisations for sponsorship and donations
• Developing new fundraising ideas and events
