Corazón, a casual, owner-operated restaurant which opened last year in Soho, offers Mexican-inspired cuisine with a difference – a small menu, food and drink of the highest quality, and a fresh, fun spirit. THE ROLE - Waiter / Waitress

As a waiter at Corazon, you will be involved in every aspect of service and enjoy full empowerment in delivering the guest experience. As a result, it will be down to you to ensure the guest experience is a happy one, with no detail missed. You will adhere to the standards of service whilst also demonstrating individuality and charisma.

You will be have a thorough knowledge and understanding of all items listed on our menus, and you will ensure the dining room is fully prepared and set for service at the correct times. You must be able to work 20 + hours a week, including nights and weekends.

Who we need

• You will display 1 + years experience as in a UK restaurant or pub business.
• You will demonstrate a passion for the London restaurant scene, as well as keen interest in great food, drink, and hospitality – non-foodies need not apply.
• Our successful candidates will display great smiles, personal presentation and charm; the way you carry yourself and communicate is a huge part of the guest experience.
• A ‘can do attitude’ and a supportive team spirit are indispensable for our opening.

We offer our guests:

• A small menu prepared with love, all made fresh on the premesis.
• Tacos served on housemaid tortillas, plus ceviche and aguachile, pozole, esquites, tres leches cake, coconut flan.
• A concise list of cocktails including the best quality fresh and frozen margaritas (fresh lime and housemaid mix), Micheladas, a ruby grapefruit Paloma, and a sharing Cazuela.
• A brief agave list (more isn’t always better!) - all served with our housemaid sangrita.
• Housemaid Aguas Frescas - hibiscus iced tea, horchata, and a fresh ‘agua fresca del dia’
