We are looking for 2 people to join us at our owner-managed Chalet in the beautiful French alpine village of La Giettaz this summer (late May-September).
We need at least one experienced cook and one capable driver, confident driving a minibus on mountain roads. Duties involve changeover cleaning, evening catering and managing the kitchen, as well as general maintenance and gardening around the property. Previous experience in Chalet hosting or working in the ski/summer alpine environment would be an advantage, but is not essential.
Accommodation is provided on-site, in a spacious one-bedroom apartment, which also contains the kitchen that is used for evening catering.
This opportunity would really suit a couple who love to be outdoors and make the most of life in the mountains. La Giettaz is a quiet Savoyard village, not a large ski resort. The area is really lovely in summer - very pretty and with excellent hiking, mountain biking and cycling routes on the doorstep. You will have use of a vehicle when it is not required for Chalet activity.
Several of the couples who've joined us over the past few years have returned for another season (both in summer and winter).
