We are looking for two people (a couple or close friends) to join us this coming winter season (December 2021 to April 2022) to help run our Chalet in the beautiful French alpine village of La Giettaz. One of you should be an experienced commercial chef and at least one should be a confident driver, with experience of driving a minibus in winter conditions.
Rather than being a standard catered Chalet, we have 10 self-catering apartments with a small bar/restaurant next door, where guests can have evening meals. Your role includes responsibility for the kitchen, changeover cleaning, driving guests, snow clearing and general maintenance around the Chalet. As Chalet owners, we live on site and look after front-of-house, as well as all the Chalet office admin, and we are available to help with busy changeovers. It is very much a team effort.
Accommodation (private, spacious 1-bedroom apartment that includes the Chalet kitchen), ski lift season pass and food are included in the package.
We are looking for motivated, practical and, above all, friendly team players, with a love of the mountains. Conversational French would be an advantage, but is not essential.
