Stunning Middle Eastern 50-seat Restaurant Café in SW London – offering authentic regional cooking inspired by the Arabian Gulf – commitment to sourcing the very best ingredients from artisan UK and International suppliers; all made in house on a daily basis from high spec open kitchen.
Menus: breakfast / lunch / dinner (rolling menu changes)
Kitchen open from 8.00am to 10.00pm / 9.00pm on Sundays (7 days operation)
Opening to Rave reviews and ongoing press interest – external catering and delivery service also available. Forward-thinking, trend-leading independent group with expansion planned.
Role
Working closely with an award-winning inspirational Owner-Chef in a small team, duties include:
Menu planning – input and ideas encouraged
Daily fresh food prep (all in-house) to spec for volume all-day dining in a fast-paced service environment (mise en place intensive for quick dish assembly)
Helping with food ordering; deliveries; food wastage control; stock counting
Maintenance of kitchen and equipment; compliance files and procedures

Desired Attributes
This would suit a creative Chef who loves to cook Middle Eastern cuisine – using only the very best ingredients.
Required skill set – passion for cooking and learning; organised and methodical; good communication and efficiency levels; eye for detail.
Salary and Benefits
Starting on £10.50 phr
Permanent contract subject to standard 3 months probationary period; regular performance related salary reviews; courses as required; progression; new openings; workplace pension option; 28 days standard leave; staff discounts; meals on duty; laundered uniform; FAM trips and team excursions
