CCTV and ALARM INSTALLER JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for CCTV and Alarm technician to join our nationally growing emergency locksmith and plumbing business. Our current technicians spread across nationally work on the 24 hour mobile service, where our dispatch team distribute jobs to their mobile application.
1. Entry requirements
Security industry background - advantage
Technical background - must
No criminal record - DBS check
Over 25 years old
Valid driving licence
Ability to work flexible hours
Commitment for at least 1 year
References upon request
experience in electrical or electronics work
2. Skills required
You’ll need:
Excellent practical skills
The ability to follow technical plans and instructions
Good customer care skills
problem-solving skills
Read, write and speak basic English
3. What you'll do
Your day-to-day duties could include:
Discussing security plans with customers
Carrying out site surveys
Installing security systems, like building access controls, fire and intruder alarms, and electronic surveillance equipment
Testing systems and explaining to customers how to operate them
Checking and servicing existing systems
Responding to call-outs to repair faulty systems
4. Salary and Commission
We are looking for on salary and on commission only technicians.
On Salary: £20,000-£24,000 (Negotiable)
On Commission only: Percentage to be negotiated at interview.

5. Working hours, patterns and environment
24 hour mobile service, so you will be a on call technician who will be accepting job on the phone application provided to you.
