As we continue to build on our achievements with providing residential and nursing care, we have a fantastic opportunity within our catering department for an experienced Catering Assistant.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the overall care we provide our residents by preparing them a nutritious and tasty meal that they will enjoy. This role will require you to assist the Cook in preparing food to a high standard. This includes following a high standard of hygiene when preparing food, making sure all kitchen equipment and surfaces are cleaned to industry standards and all food is stored correctly.
You will be a caring person that will enjoy the opportunity to interact with our residents when assisting at meal times.

Responsibilities
· Ensure that a high standard of hygiene when preparing food for the residents
· Assist with the preparation of meals and snacks for residents within the guidelines laid down by the Chef Manager.
· Assist with food service by taking food and beverage trolley to the dining area within the home.
· Assistance with meal service as directed by the Cook
· Assist with deliveries
· Washing up
· Participate in cleaning as per cleaning Rota
