4. Dad was born in France (Toulouse) and mum in Spain (Barcelona) but we have lived in London for over 20 years. We have two daughters. The eldest is 12 and the youngest is.
8. English is our main language but we are quadrilingual (English, French, Spanish and Catalan).
We are a dynamic family and do all sorts of activities (tennis, swimming, piano, drama, etc.). We are also very caring and will make sure you feel at home. Our daughters are very easy to get on with.We live in Central London (zone 2), near a Subway station. We live in a house with a garden.
We are looking for a Catalan speaking au pair. French/Spanish would also be useful. Ideally for 9 months but we would consider shorter contract as log as it is for an immediate start. We will also consider candidates who can only do school pick-ups and want to live-out, as long as they have the right language set.
Her main task will be to take our 8 year old to school and pick her after school, help her with her homework and prepare dinner for the girls. You will be free all day between 9.00 and 16.00 and can go to classes. You are also free at the week-end.
Our eldest daughter, who is 12, is now fairly independent but really loves having a "big sister" in the house.
We have a cleaner so we do not expect the au pair to do any cleaning.
We both work and we have had au pairs for the last 8 years. We have had very positive experiences with our previous au pairs who come and visit us regularly. We can put you in touch with our previous au pairs if you want references on us.
You will have your own (very large) room with en ensuite bathroom and walk-in wardrobe. Pay will be competitive and commensurate with experience.
