About the role
We are looking for a Casual Waiter / Waitress to work in the Atrium, our all day dining restaurant and assist with in-room dining. The role includes having excellent knowledge of our food and drinks menu, their presentation and potential accompaniments in order to give the best advice to guests and take on the opportunity of upselling our products. You will need to greet all our guests and offer them your assistance in a polite and friendly manner.
We would also require you to adapt communication to suit the needs of our guests. Further responsibilities include but are not limited to taking orders, setting up in-room dining trolleys and the delivery of food and beverage to five star standards.
About you
You will need to have experience of working in a restaurant or room service within a five star hotel or restaurant and ideally have knowledge of Food Safety and Allergens Awareness. You will be passionate about people; have a bubbly, welcoming personality; have excellent communication and presentation skills; be a team player and pride yourself on delivering exceptional service with genuine warmth.
Personality is the key to our roles, as is a genuine passion for world class personalised service. Excellent command of the English language is required. We want people who are confident, willing to multi task and undertake duties outside of the normal job description are easy to be around and can really contribute to shaping this new era of Jumeirah Living.
