Your role
Hotel Café Royal has an exciting opportunity for talented Food and Beverage professionals who are seeking flexible work in a prominent luxury hotel. As a casual F and B Service Attendant, you will be given assignments of varying positions in our multiple dining and event areas. Depending on your experience and skills, you may be required for shifts as a waiter/waitress, in-room dining attendant, food runner, banqueting/events assistant or host/hostess.
Shifts will vary from early mornings to late evenings. At present, we estimate on average there will be up to 40-50 hours per week available, however, you are free to choose fewer hours if you prefer; we have no minimum availability requirement.
Your profile
• A natural elegance and passion for providing a luxurious level of service that is personalised, confident and calm with a touch of theatre
• A background in a similar role, ideally gained within a luxury hotel, high quality restaurant, private members club, or the like
• Would especially suit enthusiastic students or graduates of hospitality/hotel/tourism courses
• Excellent knowledge and appreciation of food and wine
• Your communication skills will be exceptional with the confidence to build strong working relationships and connect with guests visiting us from all over the world - fluent level of spoken English is essential and another language is advantageous
• Immaculate personal grooming
• Flexibility to work evening and weekend shifts as well as being content with the nature of a zero hours contract (hours offered are based on the operational requirements of the business)
