Cash Office Manager Vacancy in London

Set above 20 Fenchurch Street in The City of London, Sky Garden hosts two of London’s most exclusive rooftop bars, Sky Pod Bar and City Garden and is also home to Fenchurch Restaurant and Darwin Brasserie.
We are now seeking a Cash Office Manager to run the cash office function and provide financial, clerical and general administrative services to Sky Garden.
Job Role

Prepare and make available daily till floats. Ensuring adequate levels of change.
Ensure that cash and card takings are securely counted, recorded, banked and safe reconciled daily.
Reconcile vouchers daily, including online vouchers sold and redeemed.
Assist Reception team with group bookings including taking payments over the phone.
Processing all restaurant/event account invoices issued by Events team, ensuring an appropriate log of all documents, with use of Head Office Accounts system.
Monitor and record all account invoice payments.
Support Events team with Credit control duties by ensuring accurate information is available.
Report daily cash variances to General Manager and Director.
Assist Head Office concerning queries relating to transactions/reconciliations at site.
Ensure monthly audit reports are documented (eg. Till system exceptions, including discounts) and reviewed by senior management.
Administrative support to Executive team (Message logs, Expense processing)
Ensure sufficient financial record keeping is maintained, as well as archiving where necessary.
Cash office stationary ordering
Assist in bar/restaurant manager training.
Ad Hoc cash and retail related tasks as instructed by accounts manager.

Candidate Profile

Strong numerical skills
Accuracy and attention to detail
Flexible in working hours and shifts
High level of verbal and written English
Ability to meet deadlines under pressure
Competent Microsoft Excel user
Previous cash handling experience
