Since January 2011, rhubarb have been at the Royal Albert Hall providing all food and drink at one of the world’s most iconic venues. The Royal Albert Hall operation consists of 6 dining spaces: Verdi Italian Kitchen, Coda Restaurant, Elgar Bar and Grill, Cloudy Bay Seafood Bar, Berry Brothers Wine Bar, 14 bars, 1 retail outlet, 147 hospitality boxes and offers seated dinners for up to 2000 guests on a special raised floor in the auditorium.
There is now an exciting opportunity to join the ever-growing, dynamic team at the Royal Albert Hall and be a part of the story rhubarb is writing.
We are recruiting a self-motivated Cash Office Assistant, who is ready for a new professional challenge in this bespoke Premium environment.
Cash Office
Ensuring that company’s cash takings are securely counted, banked and recorded
Change order and reconciling the delivery from G4S
Issuing banking bags, bag seals etc. To nominated designated staff members
Ensuring floats, cash collection and security services are provided efficiently
Ensuring that cash takings are banked via G4S on a daily basis
Preparing floats
Raising receipts are sending them to customers
Chasing payments
Recording payments on account
Sending sales reports and variance reports to the Accounts Manager on a daily basis
Investigating cash and credit card discrepancies
Assisting in training of a new staff
PDQ control and servicing
Stock control – ordering till rolls, banking bags etc.
Responding to queries coming to the company RAHFinance e-mail
Taking care of Cash Office's working environment
Accounts
Raising invoices
Updating Sales Revenue
Entering sales invoices on Opera
Updating service charge sheet
Assisting in completion of Daily Sales report
Filing documents and back up information for audit purposes
Project work assigned by the Accounts Manager
Candidate Profile
Strong numerical and accounting skills
Working knowledge of MS Excel
High level of verbal and written English
Proactive, able to work independently
Flexible in working hours and shifts
Accuracy and attention to detail
Punctual and reliable
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
