We are a London based passive fire protection specialist providing certified carpentry works to fire doors and fire stopping to compartment walls and are looking to increase our small team of operatives providing a quality repairs and maintenance service to our extensive client base.
The role is for a carpenters mate and you will be working as part of a team with an experienced carpenter with a view of you ultimately running your own team as the lead hand.
As a part of the team you will be expected to deliver on the following.

Knowledgeable on works and products being carried out and used.
From works given – knowing what stock is required and able to advise when its low or more is needed (stock control)
Communication skills
Having to deal with residents and site contacts most of the time – must be personable able to speak with residents regarding works being carried, why required, product used etc.
Being clear and concise with works required/completed. Inclusive of paperwork.
Initiative and forward thinking
Able to survey doors/review outside of works given what may be required (i.e Fault find - if it say fit ‘abc’ operative to inspect and advise/complete other works required to make it compliant)

Although training will be provided the basics must be evident from the very start.
Must be able to drive, have a CSCS card and UTR number.
