We are looking for a junior carpenter or woodworker to join our team for one day a week, in our furniture making workshop. There will almost certainly be potential for further hours once the successful candidate has settled in. The job entails restoring vintage furniture and making bespoke furniture, and occasionally making displays for our shop.
The ideal candidate would have previous woodwork experience, have good attention to detail and have experience using table saws, routers and Sanders. Please detail any plastering and painting experience as well.
We are extremely busy so we are looking for someone who is hard working, works meticulously but relatively quickly, and can hit the ground running.
The studio is based in Stoke Newington in Hackney.
