Caring Nanny Housekeeper Job

We are a nice, normal, caring, down to earth couple with a two-year-old boy and a baby to be born in April. We are looking for a live-out nanny housekeeper/mother’s help to primarily help out around the house during the day, pick up our son from nursery late afternoon and spend time with him after nursery whilst the mother looks after the newborn (or vice versa). Mother will be around during the day as well. Approximate dates will be from May 2022 onwards.
Working hours is expected to be a few hours a day (3pm to 7:30pm, flexible), a few days a week, no weekend work is required.
Duties during the day:

Load/unload dishwasher
Tidy up the house (no major cleaning work required as we have a cleaner on a weekly basis)
Laundry and changing bed sheets for the family.
Cook for the kids and the family (including toddler’s snacks and meal, baby’s pureed food and simple dinner for the adults)
Clean and sterilise all baby feeding equipment.
Clean and tidy up baby and toddler’s Toys.
Play with the young baby to allow the mother to have some personal time.
Help care for the toddler if he’s occasionally off sick from nursery.

Duties after picking up the toddler from nursery:

Picking up the toddler from nursery/school (10 minutes’ walk from where we live)
Play with the toddler after nursery (e.g. Reading, role playing, out for walks, going to the park, playing in the garden) and/or help feed and bath him when mother is breast feeding or caring for the young baby.
Play with the young baby when mother is spending time with the toddler.
Any other reasonable help if/when it’s required.

Individual Requirements:

-     Love for babies and children, nurturing, kind, good sense of humor, clean, responsible and experienced with childcare and household tasks listed above.

Must have a current DBS report and first aid certificate.
Must be legally allowed to work in the UK.
Must provide CV with a full reference list and contact details.
Provide OFSTED registration if applicable.
Must be fluent / have a good grasp of the English spoken language.
Have previous experience of being a childminder/nanny/looking after children.
Have excellent knowledge of how to look after a toddler safely and to be aware of their own health and safety needs.
There will be no need to drive.

Salary:
This will be paid hourly and based on current market rates dependent upon experience and qualifications.
