A Dementia Care Home in New Malden is looking for Carers to join their team on a full and part time basis. You will be joining a friendly and learning focused environment and will be fully supported by the management team with your care work and personal development.
Your role will include
- assisting residents with their day to day activities
- promoting their wellbeing within the Home’s philosophy of Care
- accurately report, record and participate in care planning
- provide specific Dementia Memory Care interventions and techniques
- assist with and/ or prepare snacks, tea/coffee at any time
We are looking for compassionate and empathetic Carers, with enjoy working with the elderly. You will have a positive and human centered approach and be able to demonstrate how you value residents' quality of life. You will be fully trained and supported in for residents and maintaining their health and safety. Good communication skills, ability to build rapport, remain calm and manage your emotions are essential in this role as well as being able to work as part of a team, a desire to learn and help out where needed.
