We are looking for a gentle, clean and meticulous carer to join a team looking after a mild mannered and sweet 80 year old lady with mobility difficulties and dementia.
You will need to be able to do one or two week days and every other weekend, in addition to some (sleeping) nights on an occasional basis.
experience and willingness to provide manual handling and personal care are essential, as well as the ability to work well in a pair with one of the other members of the care team. Duties include washing, dressing, feeding, administering medication and going out for strolls in the wheelchair.
You will have to have the right to work in the UK and be able to provide references and a recent DBS.
You will be working in a spacious and comfortable house, five minutes walk from Balham tube, and will have your own bedroom when working nights.
