We are looking for a local part time carer to work with an elderly gentleman who has a diagnosis of stroke/dementia and is registered blind.
You will have a passion for providing high quality personal, social and domestic care that will help support and maintain his independence.
You are –
• self-motivated and proactive with good organisational skills.
• physically fit to handle transfers.
• able to communicate clearly and respectfully with the client and family
• to ease communication, it would be desirable if you could speak either Urdu, Hindi or Punjabi.
To start immediately and work a range of shifts available during the day and evenings. Flexibility required to cover extra shifts at short notice sometimes.
Hourly rate starts at £7.20 up to £9.15 depending on experience.
