A well-established Chinese restaurant in the Chelsea area, is looking to appoint an experienced head waiter/waitress. The business has been trading for 20 years, and is a small yet busy restaurant seating about 45 people.
The successful applicant will work with a team of three or four floor staff. We expect that such person will be able to work with them and other floor staff of differing ethnic backgrounds, and able to deal with all aspects of the restaurant operation. Applicants should be experienced in maintaining high standards of service, and able to deal with complaints, as well as to resolve problems and difficulties. The person must be able to work under pressure.
Starting salary £8.50 an hour plus a performance bonus. Working week: five-day week of 50 hours. Split duties. Working hours between 11 am to 11 pm.
