Rhythmic Care is looking for an experienced care coordinator for a domiciliary care company based in Ilford ( London Zone 4). As a Care Coordinator you'll be responsible for scheduling care delivery to people in their own homes. The Role
• The care coordinator is responsible for the coordination of the Rota for the domiciliary care provision
• Strong administrative and IT skills, ideally with experience using Rota management software
• You'll mainly be office based, liaising with staff, social care professionals, clients and their families
• You'll work closely with social services, taking on and implementing new care packages
• You'll ensure that accurate records are kept up to date
• You'll be part of an on-call Rota, dealing with emergencies.
• Coordinate staff rotas, ensuring adequate cover for all care and operational roles
• Acting as first point of contact for duty managers to report staff late or absence
The Person
• You'll need to have worked as a care coordinator within a domiciliary care office previously minimum one year
• Strong communication skills
• You'll have good organisational, leadership and administrative skills
• You'll have a background in care and be willing to undertake additional duties when required.
• Whilst hands-on care is not a part of your day to day role, you will be expected to cover calls in emergencies
• You'll be a driver with your own vehicle
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with healthcare experience to join a friendly and successful team. The location of the company is accessible by train, bus and car. Salary will be £20,000 -£22,000 dependent on experience and interviews will commence immediately.
