Care AssistantA centre that provides recovery and healthcare services for adults of all ages with a wide variety of healthcare conditions, are currently recruiting Care Assistants to work as part of a growing and successful team who are focused on improving the lives of Residents.You will be provided with full training and so whilst experience is helpful, it is not essential. Many of the best Carers start at the centre with no previous background in Care. Your duties will include supporting Residents to regain and maintain their independence as well as helping them with living day by day with a wide range of complex conditions.You will be offered the opportunity to gain a recognised qualification in the Care Sector and to develop your role at the Nursing Centre where they have a clear career progression plan for you. Many of the Care Assistants progress to Senior roles within the organisation - or move forwards towards Nursing careers. Helping to support Residents with personal care, eating and drinking well, enjoying life in Older years and taking part in meaningful and stimulating activities are all key elements of this job which can be extremely rewarding. Salary levels are good (From £8.01 - £9.50 per hour {Min of £8.25 per hour after probation period} ) and the centre also offer other benefits including access to a discount scheme at supermarkets, cinemas, restaurants and other employee perks. The centre offer a range of shift times - Days / Nights / Weekend working. They have vacancies for Permanent - Full Time / Part Time and Bank employees.You will work as a key member of a team of Care Assistants, Clinical Nurses and Therapists who are all focused on making a difference.
