BACKGROUND:
Embarque is part of Carey International. It provides transport services to many corporate clients in and around London
We are currently looking for a ground transport assistant to work within the Travel Department at our client’s offices in Canary Wharf to oversee the implementation of the 3rd party booking technology and provide vendor, Booker and passenger support into the future.
FUNCTION:
The role is based in the offices of a major Investment Bank based in Canary Wharf.
The Car Marshall will work closely with the Ground Desk Transport Manager.
The Car Marshall will liaise between ground transport vendors and the service users to ensure smooth operation and high standards of service delivery.
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
Act as a help desk/contact point for users and car suppliers during the hours of 2130 hrs to 0200 hrs.
Assist Desk Transport Manager in creating daily reports to Management and report any issues.
Liaise with Embarque night controller to ensure excellent service delivery.
Qualifications / Person Specification:
Smart, well presented and confident, able to perform well under pressure.
Excellent Customer service, administrative, organisational, problem solving and presentation skills
A good communicator, both verbal and written
The ability to ensure issues are resolved to all parties satisfaction
Good processes management skills and the ability to identify areas for improvement
Ideally, but not essential some previous experience in Ground Transportation Management
Full security background checks will be carried out
