We are looking for a full-time stand-out assistant manager to help run the show at our brewery tap room.
If you haven’t visited us before, we are a brewery and tap room tucked away in the arches in Herne Hill. We are open 5pm-11pm Wed-Fri, 12-11pm Saturday and 12-10pm Sunday.
Our tap room is where people can visit the brewery to try the Beers right where they are made, both to drink in or take away. We are more than just our beer though, we also serve cider, wine, gin and vodka, all with a local provenance; and other craft Beers in bottles and on keg. We sometimes have pop-ups at the tap room with food and djs and are expanding to take the Canopy Beer Co. To festivals and local events. We’ve gained a good local popularity, especially with local cyclists - there is always plenty of lycra around.
We are looking for someone:
Bright, friendly, and positive who is keen to chat to our lovely regulars and enthusiastic about going through our Beers with new customers.
A problem-solver, so previous cellar experience is a must.
Proactive. You’ll be working as part of a small team and will have to be on the ball.
Knowledgeable about beer, especially the craft scene.
Your role will be to supervise the shift along with opening and closing the tap room. On top of that you will have an active role in stock management and maintaining the order and cleanliness of the tap room. We are looking to have more events (usually with a late license and sound system) so the role will include helping with the organising and running of these nights.
