£8.50/Hr + bonus
Weekdays only, 9am-6pm (with 1 hour lunch)
Currently Mondays, Tuesday 1pm-6pm, Thursdays and Fridays + additional holiday cover required.

We’re looking for an outgoing, upbeat Cake Hotline Assistant to learn our products inside and out, and to work as part of a team to deliver an unforgettable experience to our customers via phone and email.
We’ll train you to become the expert on all things cake and all things Konditor and Cook.
You will be joining a fun, creative, experienced, and bright team, who are passionate about all things sweet. We are always happy to answer the phone, and love to build relationships with customers as we help them celebrate with cake (and brownies, and biscuits, and more)!
This role requires employees with a strong attention for detail, love of efficiency, and exceptional communication skills.

You’ll be comfortable and confident answering the phone. (No cold calling required)
With strong attention to detail, you'll keep on top of a high volume of customer calls maintaining a positive and professional manner.
You’ll be creative and enjoy designing cakes for weddings, birthdays, anniversaries and large corporate events. (Full training will be provided)
You’ll be able to persevere with customer complaints, using appropriate grammar and tone to provide information to customers and resolve problems; escalating to the manager when appropriate.
With experience in Microsoft Office and basic computer literacy, you'll have no trouble emailing answers to queries or efficiently navigating our computer programs.

Qualifications

1 + Years’ customer service experience
Stellar written and verbal communication skills.
Friendly, outgoing personality
Comfort with web-based applications
GCSEs or equivalent

‘Brownie’ points (well, we ARE a bakery) awarded if you have the following:

A deep LOVE of all things cake
Prior experience working in a restaurant, retail business or small business.
