Our business is continuing to grow and we need some new cake and cupcake decorating talent! You need professional experience of executing beautifully decorated cakes and cupcakes at a fast pace whilst making sure that every cake you are responsible for is better than the last! Everything we do is all about quality.
Here are some of the skills you have:
*Excellent hand piping
*experience with buttercream / cream cheese icing to achieve a very high end finish
*Exceptional attention to detail
*Ability to decorate multiple cakes each day
*experience with ganache cakes
*Ability to work on big one-off customer projects
*Wedding cake experience
*experience of current cake trends and how to use them
*Ideas of your own that you'd be desperate to use
*Excellent piping skills in a variety of styles
We offer excellent rates of pay, full time contracts 40 hour with a guarantee of hours, stability and a really friendly team who are genuinely excited about cake. We don't have multiple outlets instead we focus on supplying Harrods, Selfridges and hundreds of private and corporate customers around London. This isn't a factory! We are an artisanal bakery that cares about the quality of what we deliver to customers. You'll be working in our brand new production bakery with excellent local transport links.
Starting salary of £9 per hour (negotiable depending on experience). Contract is based on 40 hours although we could be flexible with a 30 hour contract with 29 days holiday (there's an extra one in there for your birthday), cake on your birthday and a generous staff discount on Flavourtown products.
