Full Time Permanent Cake Baker and Decorator

Award Winning Sweet Things Cupcake Shop and Bakery is looking to add to our small team. 6-12 months experience in a commercial kitchen essential. The business has been running for 12 years and our shop and bakery are in a prime location in Primrose Hill. We need a friendly, reliable, organised person to join our kitchen team starting as soon as possible
Based in Primrose Hill, Sweet Things is well known for high quality
cakes, supplying delis and private Clients around London.
You must be very reliable and hard working; experience in a similar area
would be preferable.
The role will involve-
Baking our product ranges for retail and wholesale. We make large cakes, cupcakes, brownies, granola and a range of gluten free cakes.
Decorating cakes and cupcakes in our delicious buttercream, ganache and cream cheese icing, piping and spatula work. New product development.
Assisting with the development and launch of our new stone baked sourdough pizzas.
Overseeing and keeping track of stock.
Maintaining excellent standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
Providing friendly customer service.
Candidate must have excellent spoken and written English.
You must be able to work in a small team but also on your own.
You will work usually from 7am to 4pm, 5 days a week, including weekends.
Prior permission to work in the UK is essential. References are also essential.
