Cafe Assistant

Foodby dish have been working within the events industry for 15 years. We are an award winning event catering Company hosting in some of London’s most prestigious venues.
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic individual to assist the Cafe Manager in providing an efficient and high quality service to all customers at The Kings Fund and in addition should you want additional hours we have plenty available in our events department within the facility.
This is a small team working with regular in house customers which operates both as a public café and a staff restaurant facility.
Duties to include:
Serve customers in a prompt and friendly manner
Prepare basic food dishes and beverages when necessary
Restock produce and displays
To ensure cafe is clean, tidy and presentable at all times
Cash handling and processing transactions on POS system
Follow all Food safety, Hygiene and Health and Safety procedures including maintaining accurate records
The ideal candidate should have experience within a similar role or within the food and beverage service industry. Successful candidates should have excellent communication and team work skills and be proactive in all duties.
This is a fixed term contract until May 2022, however we are also happy to take on board any applicants looking for shorter term Christmas contracts up till Dec 2021.
Job Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday only between 7am and 5.30pm on a shift pattern.
Salary: £8.00 /hour plus holidays and overtime (additional work available in our events department on request). Full uniform provided.
