Position available: CAD Technician - Furniture/Cabinetmaking.

Job description: We are currently looking for a CAD technician to join our team. Whilst working closely with interior designers, architects and main contractors, the candidate will be responsible for taking client approved concept drawings and producing detailed production drawings for the workshop floor. In addition to producing workshop drawings, they will also be responsible for breaking components for machining on our CNC machine.
Job Role:
Producing production drawings for in-house manufacture, sub-contracted components and installation.
Working with the workshop manager for efficient day to day running of the workshop.
Requirements:
Good knowledge of AutoCAD / Solidworks
Knowledge of CNC capabilities preferred
Minimum 3 years experience within the furniture/joinery industry.
Preferably some bench work experience
Excelent knowledge of furniture and joinery construction methods.
Ability to keep and maintain good quality records and follow procedures.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Positive attitude to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
Salary: Based on experience
Working hours: 7am – 5pm, Monday – Friday.
