We are looking for an experienced CAD technician who is capable of producing high-end joinery drawings from initial client briefs/site surveys through to manufacturing and assembly.

The candidate must be trained and proficient in the use of AutoCAD and is able to produce precise joinery/workshop drawings, mid-level design co-coordinator to prepare detailed design drawings for manufacture of bespoke joinery.

As a CAD Technician, your role will be focused on furniture design and detailed drawings for manufacture. This is a great opportunity with potential of long term career development.

Essential Criteria

Should have the ability to work closely with the designers/architecture to produce 2D, technical drawings.

Have proficient use of AutoCAD 2D. Ability to produce clear and informative production drawings Ability to produce joinery/workshop drawings mid-level Candidate should have 3 + years within the joinery industry developing technical drawings.

He/She can produce cutting lists (for all the component parts of the joinery product).

He/She should be able to work accurately and on complex projects whereby the technical drawings can be given to a cabinet making to produce.

Skills in handling customers and contractors with tact.

PC computer literate in email and Microsoft Office software, particularly Word and Excel.
