Our client is in the process of turning a unique, stunning, historic and truly Sporting Estate in the Scottish Highlands into a luxurious Private Members Club – a haven for sporting enthusiasts to indulge in their outdoor passions surrounded by 5-star luxury. With a complete remodelling of the property about to start, we are looking to hire a talented, and experienced Butler to join their internal team.
A live-in role and one that can accommodate a couple (there are other opportunities on the Estate) this position is for someone with a distinguished front of house career, who is able to cater for all needs of the clientele throughout the duration of their stay, including Service at Table and a considerable knowledge of Mixology, and able to provide a seamless, discreet and personable level of service.
We are looking for someone who has the drive and desire to work in unique surrounding, who shares a passionate, personal and professional interest in their role and possesses the highest of personal standards. Someone with formal training and an exemplary experience working in 5* Establishments and Private Households - able to walk the line between professional establishments and the private home – where needs and numbers change every day, personal tastes need to be taken into account and guests treat the property as their own home.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
♦ Seamless provision of service for guests for the duration of their stay
♦ Knowledge / professional experience in Mixology
♦ Service at Table (Silver Service)
♦ Cleaning shoes and boots
♦ Packing and unpacking guests’ bags
♦ Provision of Breakfasts, Lunches (in the field), Afternoon Tea and formal Dinner
♦ Running errands
♦ Catering for Ad Hoc needs
♦ Working alongside and under the Management Team
Candidates must be / have:
♦ Considerable previous experience in formal Butler roles
♦ Discreet, loyal and professional at all times
♦ Personable, approachable and flexible
♦ Dedicated to their craft
♦ EU Passport
♦ Fluent English Language
