Business Systems Project Manager / IT Project ManagerSSP UK are a worldwide company operating branded food and beverage outlets in the travel sector (airports, rail stations and other leisure environments). We operate outlets in 32 countries and employ over 30,000 people with a 60 year history of providing quality food and beverage experiences across the travel sector.We are looking for a Business Systems Project Manager to work within our UK IT team and take responsibility for planning, executing and evaluating IT projects according to predetermined times lines and budgets. In this role you will be building and managing project teams, reporting to the Project Sponsor and ensuring quality control throughout project lifecycles.The RoleAs Business Systems Project Manager you'll be agreeing project objectives, timescales, costs and resources, creating and maintaining a detailed plan for each stage of a project.You'll then create and maintaining project documentatio, such as * Risk and Issue registers * Business case * Product descriptions * Daily log * Project brief There will be a degree of working with contractors in this role - negotiating with contractors and suppliers for materials and services, then monitoring sub-contractors to ensure guidelines are maintained.As Project Manager your role would be to lead and manage the projects in terms of resource, goal mapping and achievement, status updates to stakeholders and ensuring that project goals are achieved relative to timescales, budgets and quality. This will extend to testing, documentation, training and launch of new IT projects.The Details You will have strong management and organisation skills, able to liaise with internal and external colleagues with effective communication skills and have the drive and tenacity to get the job done. You will need proficient IT skills (word / excel / outlook) and be able to work under pressure.We have a number of bespoke IT systems within our business.
