Director of Business Operations

£90000 - £100000 Per annum
Business Operations UK and Global Service Management Director will be responsible for client relationship management ensuring that ongoing contract commitments of both the business and the client are met. The individual will also be responsible for the global service management function, managing a small global service desk predominantly responsible for help desk activities, incorporating incident, problem and change management activities.
This is a client facing role and will require excellent communication skills and will include co-coordinating actions with internal business units. The person will be responsible for managing regular service review meetings and participate in client governance meetings.
The role will report to the Chief Operating Officer.
In performing these functions, the post-holder will work closely with counterparts in Asia and Australia, the relevant teams and stakeholders in various functions at the business.
Client Management
* Building and maintaining effective relationships with existing and potential clients.
* Responsible for managing existing UME accounts, through effective relationship management by.
* Carrying out periodic service reviews and ensuring the timely production of client packs.
* Managing client on-boarding activities
* Monitoring performance against KPIs and reporting against SLAs.
Essential
* Significant previous experience managing effective client relationships and delivering successful outcomes for clients.
* Skilled at influencing and motivating others, at all levels of the organisation.
* Able to effectively manage various stakeholders with a diverse range of skills and objectives.
* Project Management experience
* experience in Service Management and managing technology help desk activities.
Desirable:
* Understanding of the UK Insurance industry.
* Previous experience of working in an IT environment.
* Significant experience in leading projects through to completion.
* Familiarity with contractual arrangements - ideally technology related.
