About the role
The role is highly diverse and will allow you to work with and learn about all aspects of digital marketing industry. You will be working mainly with the Business Development Manager, Commercial Director and Managing Director on the acquisition of new business, but will also spend time with creative, technical and individual accounts teams. This role is for anyone who is commercially motivated, who is looking to develop an understanding of the digital marketing industry, looking to gain valuable agency experience as well as looking to gain experience in a sales role.
Key Duties will include:
Sales/New Business:
• Lead Generation: reach out to target list of potential new clients and build relationships with parent company sales people, to cross sell and upsell within the business
• Run initial meetings and relationships with potential new clients
• Support the closing of all new business, and the onboarding of new clients
Client Services:
• Documents: Take responsibility for writing all documents for the sales and account management teams in relation to new business.
• RFPs: manage process of compiling RFPs. Organise internal planning meeting and deadlines with the Managing Partner and Commercial Director and Business Development Manager, collect and review answers from directors.
• Client creds decks: Work with directors to compile creds decks for client pitches.
• Client Management: Follow correspondence between clients/potential clients and project leads. Speak with clients to arrange meetings and to assist with any enquiries and questions.
Office Management:
• Prepare meeting rooms for client meetings: clean, prepare equipment, water/coffee.
• Update company credentials.
• Lead Tracking: track all leads in the sales pipeline. Continuously update sales and strategic actions and check that others have followed up on assigned work.
Diary Management
• Follow up on client correspondence, put meetings calendar where necessary and invite all those who are involved (both internally and externally). Liaise with clients over proposed meeting times and location.
Events:
• Represent Adapt Worldwide at sales and marketing events.
• Look for potential events that company senior staff can speak at.
The role requires you to be:
• Extremely organised.
• Highly communicative with senior staff members.
• Highly proficient in communicating with clients on the phone, in person and by email.
• Analytical and commercially intuitive.
• The ability to produce first class client facing PPT decks.
• Proactive and entrepreneurial.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• To have a strong attention to detail.
• To be sociable and outgoing at all business networking events and in general.
• Open to assuming a constantly increasing level of responsibility.
• Enthusiastic, eager to learn and as helpful as possible.
