Joining us on a full time permanent basis, you will receive a competitive salary starting from £20,000-£25,000 based on previous experience + £4K bonus scheme based on company performance. Driving license essential.

Overview of the role

We are looking for someone to work along side our New Business Manager and Director as we continue to establish LICKALIX with national distributors, mid to large buying groups, small independent sales points and any other sales opportunities with potential. This is a great entry- level position for an enthusiastic, driven go- getter.

LICKALIX is a natural, organic food company.  Our ice lollies are different as we use real fruit, free from and they are for the whole family to enjoy. The overall function will be to assist the New Business Manager and Directors as they grow the business with specific focus on achieving sales volume and growth.  In this respect the successful candidate will have the opportunity to grow and progress with the company.

LICKALIX has expanded and grown rapidly. We have gone from a small niche ice lolly brand to a national brand in a multiple outlets and routes to market including Ocado and Jamie Oliver’s restaurants.

Reporting

To New Business Manager and Director: Tom and Dominic.

Driving license needed - ESSENTIAL

Main responsibilities and duties

Assisting with implementing the sales strategy for the coming period with specific goals against target outlets outside London.

Looking after national and regional accounts.

Help to account manage key clients and distribution and responsible for managing our current clients outside of London in your geographical area.

Responsible for finding and researching new clients outside of London.

Will be out on the road on sales trips at least 2 days a week each week (predominately within 1- 2 hours of the North M25) meeting new businesses and seeing current clients.

New business and current client phone calls.

Answering client requests, proactively targeting potential clients, research and creating new business lists.

Working with the regional sales force of our distribution partners.

Reporting back market and sales performance to manager and directors.

Representing the company externally

Managing sales database

Inputting sales data from distributors each month.

Timings

Working day 9.00am to 6.00pm although there will be times when you are expected to work late.

Location

Office: Willesden Junction area, NW10 London.

Remuneration

£20,000 - £25,000 P.a, based on experience, plus bonus scheme based on sales performance.

Scheme based on share of sales income, targeted at £4,000.

20 Days holiday + extra Christmas holiday days + company holiday.
