This job is with a young international family with a 2.5 Y old daughter. The family are looking for an experienced and qualified governess, whose primary role will be to teach English and to focus on the early years development of the child.
Governess will live and work with the family in South of France (from September to November), Miami, USA (from December to May), Moscow, Russia (from June to August). The full-time contract is for 12 months, with the standard paid holiday terms. All expenses and own accommodation will be provided.
Interviews and trial days to be conducted in Chelsea, London in early May.
Responsibilities include:
- English language tuition through play
- creative play (preferably music or art)
- safety
- teaching good manners
- encouraging speaking and reading in English
- art or music
You will not be expected to do:
- driving
- cleaning
- cooking
An assistant nanny will be taking care of general childcare chores.
Family set up:
Young Russian parents, working professionals, English speakers, who have lived and do business in Europe. They have a nanny who is currently looking after the girl, her role is limited to care-taking. The girl is friendly and easy going. She likes to sing, draw, sculpt, role play, yoga, and reading.
Work schedule:
5 days per week, 8-9 hours per day, normal day hours.
