About us:
We’re a small but rapidly expanding group of fun and friendly places to eat, drink and sleep with a focus on great design, food and service. We currently have boutique hotels in London, Brighton, Cornwall and Oxfordshire, each uniquely designed to fit with their surroundings, featuring bars and restaurants that are popular with hotel guests and locals alike.
Our London hotel:
Artist Residence London is tucked away in a side street of residential Pimlico, just a 5 minute walk from the hustle and bustle of Victoria. Featuring 10 individually decorated bedrooms and an all-day neighbourhood restaurant and bar, The Cambridge Street Kitchen, we like to think we provide a home away from home for our guests, with comfy-luxe bedrooms, friendly, down-to-earth service and an excellent menu of seasonal British produce.
Our food and drink:
Once a Victorian pub, The Cambridge Street Kitchen is a revived social hub, open all day for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Our head chef, Elliot, serves an inventive menu showcasing the very best of Britain’s seasonal ingredients, whilst our resident bartenders are on hand to create an array of unique cocktails to compliment the dishes. We also have two very popular event spaces which are often booked out for parties, meetings, events and photoshoots.
Reporting to our Head Chef, Elliot, you will be responsible to support our day to day kitchen operation, providing great food in a friendly environment, supporting the kitchen and restaurant team to deliver great hospitality.
The Role…
• Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes
• Managing and training any commis working with you
• Helping the other team members to develop new dishes and menus
• Ensuring you and your team have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety
• Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins
