Brand Ambassador / Counter Manager – Luxury Skin Care
£22 000 plus generous commission structure and benefits

A new Luxury Skin Care Brand in Urban Retreat, Harrods is looking for a brand ambassador / counter manager
Haute Custom Beauty is a new Spanish skincare company born from an established Spa of 40 years with an entrepreneurial spirit, dedicated to outstanding service and unique experiences. Every person’s skin has different skin needs which have been segmented to create highly targeted skincare formulas using the most undiluted actives and natural extracts from around the world.
As the only staff member and Counter Manager for the brand in the spa, you will need to be passionate about achieving retail goals and have experience building, managing and developing a team through motivational leadership. You’ll understand the importance of delivering exceptional customer service as well as having outstanding administrative skills. Leading by example, in our number 1 counter abroad, you will be a brand ambassador both in the store and in the UK.
You will be provided with full and extensive training on our amazing Brand, Products (and Treatments if you are NVQ Beauty Therapist Level 2).
Master Category Knowledge
• Have a full understanding of all of our products and update this knowledge to the team
• Be aware of competitors’ products and their performance against your own
• Have a true passion for skincare and skin health
• Have a good knowledge and awareness of the beauty market
• Attend, engage and participate in all brand training, and implement afterwards
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Complete all paperwork accurately, legibly and on time
• Be fully aware and accountable for achievement of business targets
• Closely monitor stock levels, raise and rectify stock issues following retailer guidelines
• Offer creative ideas to generate new business
• Approve business rotas with spa manager – ensuring the business is covered on key trading hours
• Ensure merchandising guidelines are followed in store, maintaining brand image
• Perform to personal targets
• Build strong relationships with the team, store management, sales agent, therapist and Head Office
• Showcasing the Brand working in partnership with the store
• Take appointments for facials and organise these events with the therapist
Drive Selling Process/Techniques
• Ensure you (and the therapist) deliver luxury service at all times, inviting customers back for a return appointment
• Generate retail sales through the successful execution of in-store events and strengthen brand loyalty
• Ensure you (and the therapist) make appropriate, personalised product and sample recommendations
• Ensure you (and the therapist) have a strong focus on link-selling and the recruitment of new customers
• Ensure you use confident communication and presentation skills when dealing with customers
• Gain market share for the brand, with a goal of improving ranking.
Foster Service Attitude
• Show passion for people and products
• Ensure you follow the grooming guidelines to promote the brand image
• Ensure the counter is a clean and hygienic work area and adhere to hygiene rules
• Conduct business to business networking to optimise opportunities for the account, with a focus on demonstrations and events
Daily Responsibilities
• Report directly to Head Quarters
• Maintain thorough understanding of all products, treatments and concepts
• Consistently achieve above average retail sales figures
• Demonstrate an advanced level of skill and education, customer care and communication
• Complete daily operating procedures as required
• Opening and closing procedures
• Tracking of retail and concept targets
• Confident with all stock procedures
• Retail products confidently
• Keep retail shelves stocked
• Restock and order consumables supplies
• Regularly update POS
• Consistently follow all policies and procedures as outlined in the policies and procedures manual.
REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION
• Present a well-groomed appearance at all times.
• Cover counter duties which include assisting customers with retail
• Be available for all relevant store activities including meetings, workshops, inventory, unpacking orders, sales promotions,
• Maintain all work areas in a professional manner. This may include stocking shelves, cleaning all the areas and replenishing product.
• Maintain professionalism and consistent high standard of customer service to every client.
• Be aware of competitors’ products and their performance against your own

1 year experience in retail for a luxury beauty brand
NVQ Beauty Therapy Level 1, 2 and 3 a plus

COMPENSATION
Basic salary: £22,000 per annum
Additional:
• commission of 3% of total net sales of HCB brand
• employer’s national insurance contribution of 13.8% on salary + commission
• 1% pension contribution on salary + commission
• 28 days Holidays including Bank Holidays
• Incentive on retail sales.
