Booking Coordinator
Due to an ever increasing bookings for our translators, we are looking for a new recruit to join our small team. It will be essential for all applicants to have excellent telephone communication, organisational skills, and the ability to handle high volume of calls. This is a busy fast paced environment and so all applicants must be able to work under pressure and to strict deadlines.
Salary: £18,000 - £22,000 plus bonus
Locations: Walthamstow
Hours: Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm
Reports to: Director
Purpose of the role:
Assist with the management of the Language / Translators booking process, ensuring that all requests are dealt with quickly and efficiently and that details are accurately given and received by clients and candidates.
Main duties and responsibilities:
· Demonstrate commercial awareness in managing bookings and promoting the right offering.
· Coordinating all the translators and clients bookings, processing incoming telephone requests.
· Liaising with Clients and Candidates to ensure the smooth provision of services as required.
· Assisting the Director with planning and organisation.
· Organising and forward planning resources and services to ensure the smooth operation day by day.
· Management of key staff and clients to meet the needs of the business.
· Administrative tasks, including reconciliation of booking and statistical reporting.
Relevant experience:
· experience of making and receiving telephone calls.
· Working under pressure is essential
· Understanding of the translation business.
Key Skills:
· Excellent inter-personal skills
· Effective communicator at all levels
· Capable of establishing immediate rapport.
· Ability to handle conflicting demands and/or challenging pressures for resources.
· Proven organisational skills
· Computer literate

· Flexible in both attitude and in daily hours of work.
